The artist Cesar Manrique has designed a wonderful beautiful cactus garden, at the foot of the mill of Guatiza, inside a former quarry. Nearly 10000 cactuses from worldwide origin are arranged decoratively in this park. Nice walkways lead, between artificial waterfalls, through the park. Overlooking the garden the café offers a place to rest.
The unique cactus garden is also a creation of the popular island artist and it is not only interesting for cactus enthusiasts but definitely for all others too.
